Lotifa is the Global Advocacy Adviser for the Malala Fund team, she advises on global advocacy campaigns and advocacy strategies in relation to girls’ education with a particular focus on gender equality and climate change She leads on coordinating global advocacy at Malala Fund whilst working closely with the wider education sector to advocate for girls’ education within wider policy forums. She has gained firsthand insight in the field in various countries and worked on key international issues for almost a decade. Prior to this she studied BA Politics & East European Studies at University College London and has also completed the Public Policy Analysis course with the LSE. Lotifa is an alumni of the American Express Leadership Academy with Common Purpose. She enjoys spending time swimming, travelling and has been listed on the British Bangladeshi Power & Inspiration 100 List.
