Modern Slavery Statement

1MM Modern Day Slavery Statement

At One Million Mentors, we believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. Modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our organisation or in the communities we serve.
Although our supply chains are small, we take our responsibilities seriously. We are committed to acting ethically, being transparent in how we work, and ensuring that the people and organisations we partner with share these values.

Our approach includes:

  • Working with suppliers, contractors, and partners who uphold safe and fair working practices and comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Embedding awareness of exploitation and safeguarding risks across our staff, volunteers, and mentors so they know how to recognise and report concerns.
  • Reviewing our policies and processes regularly to strengthen our commitment to safety, wellbeing, and ethical practice.

If we ever identify concerns relating to modern slavery, we will act quickly and responsibly, including reporting issues to the appropriate authorities.

This statement reflects our ongoing commitment to creating safe, supportive environments where young people — and everyone connected to our work — can thrive.
