Hifsa Wajid

Hifsa is a Business teacher with a strong passion for supporting young people to realise their potential. She holds a First Class degree from Birmingham City University and began her journey in further education at Walsall College, where she first engaged with mentoring as a mentee.

Her experience of mentoring has been transformative, shaping her confidence, sense of belonging, and career pathway. She later became a mentor and has been an ambassador for One Million Mentors for over seven years, advocating for the impact of meaningful connections and guidance.

Through her work in education, Hifsa is committed to inspiring young people and helping them build confidence, access opportunities, and overcome barriers. She brings both professional insight and lived experience to her role on the board.

Alongside her teaching career, Hifsa has a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, currently developing her own balloon décor business. She also enjoys stepping outside her comfort zone, having completed both a skydive and a bungee jump.
