Sami Gichki is a former mentee and an ambassador for 1MM. He is a strategy leader and systems thinker driving change at the intersection of social impact, equity and innovation. With experience across a portfolio of cross sector Non-Executive roles – from Chairing the #iWill Movement and being a board member of the #iWill Fund (match funded over £100M), shaping Safe Passage International’s approach to antiracism; to mapping Manchester Open Youth Infrastructure for New Philanthropy Capital and advising Department of Culture Media and Sport on the development of the National Youth Strategy. Sami brings a future focused data-literate approach to embedding lived experience into policy, governance and organisational transformation, partnering with clients to challenge orthodoxy, evolve infrastructure and centre marginalised voices in strategic decision-making.
